The delegates of Asean Regional Forum visited National Art Gallery (NAG) here on Tuesday. Naeem Tahir, Director General, Pakistan National Council of Arts hold a reception for the delegates and provided tour guide to facilitate them. The members of the delegation from 21 countries including China, Japan, India, England, Australia, Malaysia and Canada visited the gallery under the leadership of Major General Asif Nawaz Janjua of National Defence University.
The delegates appreciated the masterpiece of Pakistani artists embellished in the gallery and took keen interest in the work of internationally recognised artists Sadqain, Ustad Allah Baksh and Abdul Rehman Chukhtai. Ruheena Malik's calligraphic work was also praised by the members of the delegation. They visited the PNCA hall and appreciated the design and architecture of the art gallery. The delegates also appreciated the efforts of the PNCA for the promotion and preservation of the fine arts.
