Allama Sajid Ali Naqvi, Chief of Tehrik-e-Jafaria (TJ) has strongly condemned the assassination of three shiites in Dera Ismail Khan on Wednesday and said that Shiites are feeling themselves insecure and unsafe in Parachinar, Bhakkar, Dera Ismail Khan and other areas.
Talking to local newsmen here on Thursday Sajid Naqvi said," it is a sectarian killing because our three activists were targeted by the assailants". He said that the attack by two gunmen was carried out near the Mufti Mehmood Memorial Hospital on Darband Road. Rizwan Haider and Munair Hussain were killed on the spot while Hussain died in hospital.
While, the police official Shafiullah Marwat said that the three men were attacked when they were standing at a bus station in Dera Ismail Khan. He said the attackers managed to flee. They were complainants in a case and they returned after attending the hearing of that case in an anti-terrorism court. Four members of a family had been killed in Pir Zaki Town on May 25, and a case was registered against Qari Khalilur Rehman, Abdul Razaq, Muhammad Asif, Muhammad Yousaf and Baitullah, all belonging to a banned organisation.
