Indus River System Authority (Irsa) on Friday released 81,410 cusecs water from various rim stations. According to Irsa, an overall water inflow from various reservoirs was recorded at 52,595 cusecs. Water level at Tarbela Dam recorded on Friday was at 1471.52 feet. The present water level at the dam was 102.52 feet higher than the dead level of 1369 feet.
Water inflow at the dam was recorded at 26600 cusecs while outflow was 40000 cusecs. The water level at Mangla Dam was recorded at 1163.75 feet, which was 122.75 feet higher than the dead level of 1040 feet. Water inflow at the dam was recorded at 9585 cusecs and the outflow at 25000. The contribution of Kabul and Chenab was recorded at 6,360 cusecs and 10,050 cusecs, respectively.
