Kashmiri fruit traders did not allow shooting of some scenes of director Rahul Dholakia's movie 'Lamhaa' at fruit Mandi, Parimpora in Srinagar, IHK says a report reaching here from across the Line of Control. The film 'Lamhaa' is a love story, featuring Sanjay Dutt and Bipasha Basu.
The film scenes shot at Fruit Mandi were portraying Kashmiris as gun wielding people, which can convey a wrong message to the outside world, that is why, the traders intervened and stopped the shooting, the traders maintained. The angry traders said that fruit cartons loaded with artificial guns and ammunition were being shot during the film, which would seriously affect their business especially the recently started cross LoC trade.
