'Government striving to steer country out of financial crisis'

The Advisor to Sindh Chief Minister for Anti-Corruption Establishment and Inquiries Gul Muhammad Lot has said that good governance was the key of prosperity of any nation and present government was focusing on the institutional development and eradication of the corruption to put the country on the track of development.
This he observed while presiding over meeting of officers of provincial and district governments Hyderabad at Shahbaz Hall, Shahbaz Building, Hyderabad. He said that President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari has assigned him the task for eradication of corruption and providing relief to the poor and victims. He said that government was striving hard to bring the country out from financial crises. He said that for the good governance, all the management of the government departments has been directed to computerise their business and also to establish complaint centre within their offices so that the grievances of the people could be resolved.
He said that still there were many problems being experienced by the people due to ill management of the government offices, hospitals, educational institutions, revenue and police departments. He said there are various departments who were working well and they must have to publicise their works for the image building of the government. He said that he was also working hard to bring improvement even in his department and invited suggestions, if any, in this regard.
He said that though the collection of the foreign reserve plays vital role in the national developments but the efficient utilisation of the financial resources was another important factor by which huge amount could be saved for the national development. He said that it was the policies of the previous government that brought the flood of the vehicular and mobile business by loaning of plastic currency, besides previous rulers run the country through artificial financial management by getting the repayment of the loans rescheduled after the incident of 9/11.
However, he made it clear that it was because of the efforts of the present government and President Asif Ali Zardari that the country was not only being brought out from financial crises but also being put on development track and added that one will witness its visible result in the near future. The DCO Hyderabad Ali Ahmed Lund, all the EDOs of district government and regional and district heads of provincial government attended the meeting. They also presented their problems to which the advisor assured for resolution of the same.
