Short courses and training programmes underline the commitment and efforts of PGJDC in developing the gems and jewellery industry of the country. Such steps taken by PGJDC are proving to be instrumental in enhancing the skills and capacity of the sector from mine to market.
At present, most of the people do not follow the proper procedure for the gems identification and do not use basic instruments. The course will be of great opportunity, and if someone keep on practising it in future and further enhance their capabilities in gem identification, it will lead them to the gem classifier. At that stage they can also start and adopt their own business of gemstone also.-PR
