Advisor on Interior Rehman Malik on Tuesday directed National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) to issue machine-readable passports to the Pakistanis residing in Saudi Arabia, within one week. In a meeting with Pakistan's Ambassador in Saudi Arabia Admiral Shahid Karimullah (Retd) here, the advisor on interior asked the authorities to immediately make arrangements for the provision of passports to Pakistanis to facilitate their travelling.
The ambassador briefed Rehman Malik about the issues of Pakistani Diaspora and said the embassy was vigilant about their problems and was working to settle various issues.
