Equities showed improvement in trading turnover on the Lahore Stock Exchange on Tuesday while the LSE-25 index, as usual, remained unchanged at last day closing level of 2825.36. There was no change in the market sentiments and equities changed hands without any gain or loss.
All 85 companies closed at their previous level whereas transaction volume significantly increased to 270,000 shares as compared to 8,000 shaares traded a day earlier. Hala Enterprise Limited with trading of 145,500 shares, was the market leader followed by Sardar Chemical Industries with 95,000 shares. Shahzad Textile Mills and IGI Investment Bank recorded trading of 9,000 and 500 shares respectively.
