Equities showed mixed trend on the Lahore Stock Exchange on Wednesday while the index continued to stay glued at previous level of 2825.36 amid highly reduced transaction volume. The trading turnover substantially declined to 900 shares as compared to Tuesday volume of 270,000 shares.
The sluggish sentiments kept the market under its grip throughout the day that forced the investors to stay at distance, while the market is still lacking institutional support. Out of a total of 86 companies, Habib Bank Limited gained 45 paisa with trading of 200 shares, PIAC lost 69 paisa with 500 shares while 84 companies closed at their previous levels.
