Punjab University and Pakistan Agriculture Research Council (PARC) will collaborate in the areas of mutual interest especially in agricultural research. Discussions to this effect were held between the Punjab University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Mujahid Kamran and Federal Food & Agriculture Secretary Muhammad Zia-ur-Rehman during the latter visit to PU on Thursday.
On the occasion, Kamran said that correspondence has already been started between the Punjab University, Federal Secretary and PARC. He said both institutions have great potential to collaborate in the field of agricultural research and this collaboration will be fruitful for the country because Pakistan is basically an agricultural country.
