Chairman Provincial Zakat Council (PZC), former Justice Haji Muhammad Akram Biato has said that the system of distribution of zakat funds is free, fair and transparent and efforts are being made to distribute the zakat to the deserving people at all levels. He said that effective monitoring and evaluation system at all levels is being maintained.
He expressed these views while presiding over 113th meeting of the Provincial Zakat Council. Secretary Zakat and Ushar Qazi Afaq Hussain, official and non-official members of the council attended the meeting. He said that it is the paramount duty of all the members of the concerned officials to distribute zakat funds honestly.
