Former MPA Haji Abid Hussain Khokhar elected unopposed as president of Jhang Chamber of Commerce (JCCI) hare on Saturday. A special meeting of executive committee of JCCI held here. Former president Sh. Muhammad Akram, executive member members Asif Rasool Chaudhry Haji Yasin Chaudhry; Sh. Muhammad Younis and other members attended the meeting.
The name of Haji Abid Hussain Khokhar was proposed for the slot of JCCI president during the meeting which was approved by the committee. Later, the newly elected members of executive committee and president took oath. Talking to media newly elected president Haji Abid Hussain Khokhar said that he would continue the efforts for getting approved establishment of industrial estate in the district.
He added that strong relations would be established with provincial, federal and foreign chambers to improve the business activities. He further said that Jhang Chamber of Commerce (JCCI) would also ensure co-ordination with government departments for the facilitation of business community during his tenure.
