Government has reconstituted the board of National Vocational and Technical Education Commission (Navtec) by inducting seven new members in it, says a release issued here on Saturday. The new members included Amir Mansoor, Sarah Hashwani, Ahmad Sheikh, Muhammad Ali Jameel, Khurram Farid Khakwani, President, Balochistan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (by designation) and Asfand Yar Shah. A notification to this effect has been issued with the approval of the Prime Minister.
All of the new members of Navtec Board are the big entrepreneurs from private sector of the country and having the expertise in the four priority sectors on which Navtec was currently focusing its attention to impart technical training. These sectors are construction, hospitality/services, agriculture, livestock and IT & Telecommunications. Moreover, all the four provinces have been given representation in the board.-PR
