A three-day International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) organised by the Education Department, Punjab in collaboration with Intel Pakistan concluded at Children's Library Complex on Friday. A science exhibition, part of the fair was held in which 92 schools of the province took part and put on display research projects in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science.
The Additional Secretary Education, Punjab, Nadeem-ur-Rehman was the chief guest at the concluding ceremony of the fair. Addressing the event, Punjab Secretary distributed prizes and appreciated the efforts of students who came up with innovative ideas and skills and asked them to opt for a profession in science and research.
He said that Pakistani students are highly talented and getting international recognition through their innovative ideas. Nadeem assured support to Intel Science Olympiad, which will provide a unique opportunity to the students to improve their research-based scientific skills.
