All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) AJK Chapter in a meeting held on Friday expressed the confidence that holding of sham elections in occupied Kashmir, would not affect the Kashmiris' movement for attaining their legitimate right to self-determination.
'Kashmiris' struggle will continue until the right to self-determination is achieved,' the APHC meeting, presided over by its, Convenor, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani observed. Rehmani said that fake elections in IHK has no credibility as these were held in the presence and supervision of Indian army, which could never be declared free, fair and transparent. He said India was committing massive human rights violations in occupied valley to suppress indigenous struggle of Kashmiri people.
During the meeting, APHC paid glowing tributes to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on his 132nd birth anniversary and underlined the need to follow the footstep of Father of the Nation to get the occupied territory liberated from Indian subjugation. The meeting also demanded release of Kashmiri leadership detained to succeed the election drama.
