Death of Salim Gilani condoled

The Prime Minister, Yousaf Raza Gilani has expressed immense grief and sorrow over the death of eminent broadcaster, poet and performer, Salim Gilani. The Prime Minister on Friday visited the house of Salim Gilani, where he condoled with the bereaved son of the late broadcaster, Danial Salim Gilani.
Salim Gilani died of cardiac arrest on Thursday. He was the Director General of Radio Pakistan. Born in Gurdaspur, India on May 16, 1928, the late poet did his masters in English from the Government College Lahore.
