The Chief Election Commissioner has directed that re-polling at eleven Polling Stations of NA-28 Buner constituency would be held on 14th January 2009. It was officially notified here on Tuesday. The re-polling was ordered pursuant to the report received from the Additional District and Sessions Judge-I/ Returning Officer for the Buner bye-elections, it added.
Polling on eleven stations was suspended after a car bomb blast at a polling station in Govt. School Shalbandi. The Returning Officer concerned shall personally supervise the polling with adequate resources: Following are the names of the polling stations:
(i) Polling Station -115 Government Middle School, Shalbandi; (ii) Polling Station -116 Government Girls Middle School, Shalbandi; (iii) Polling Station -117 Government Primary School, Shalbandi; (iv) Polling Station -118 Government Primary School, Banr, Shalbandi; (v) Polling Station -119 Government Primary School, Kund, Shalbandi; (vi) Polling Station -120 Government Primary School, Manai Bambalai; (vii) Polling Station -121 Government Girls Primary School No 2, Shalbandi; (viii) Polling Station -122 Government High School, Amnawar; (ix) Polling Station -123 Government Primary School, Amnawar; (x) Polling Station -124 Government Girls Primary School, Amnawar; (xi) Polling Station -125 Government Primary School No 1, Amnawar.
