A joint graduation ceremony of 1st Basic Transport Familiarisation Course, Y-12 Co-Pilot Conversion Course and Y-12 Captain Course was held on Tuesday at 41 Light Communications Squadron, Pakistan Air Force Base, Chaklala. Deputy Chief of the Air Staff (Operations) Air Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman, was the chief guest on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Air Marshal Rao said "I would like to advise the Graduating Officers, that the Flying Wings and the Professional Certificates, which you have received today, is only symbolic, what actually matters is the great responsibility as an aircrew that has been entrusted to you. Remember success largely depends upon competence, commitment and sincerity, which you must have and demonstrate in your profession through personal example. Only then you can earn respect and enjoy the confidence of your colleagues and superiors."
Later, the chief guest awarded certificates and trophies to the graduating officers. The trophy for overall Best Performance in 1st Basic Transport Familiarisation Course was awarded to Pilot Officer Faisal Majeed. Earlier, on his arrival the Chief Guest was received by Air Commodore Khaleel Ahmed, Base Commander PAF Base Chaklala.
