The notices were issued to the Advocate General Sindh and Prosecutor General Sindh for Tuesday by a division bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) comprising Justice Gulzar Ahmed and Justice Syed Pir Ali Shah hearing a criminal revision application seeking quashment of the FIR in which SNF chief was booked.
AG Sindh appearing for the Sindh government claimed notice submitting that he has not received the copy of the application. He also challenged the maintainability of the application.
Earlier, the counsel for applicant in his arguments submitted that the accused/applicant was a chronic heart patient and an elderly man and there is no evidence of the abatement as alleged by the prosecution and it was all cooked up to victimise the applicant /accused for political motives. The bench however issued notice to the state side for January 06. The bench also ordered continuation of interim order passed on Saturday night regarding medical treatment of Bhutto for heart ailment.
