There is a suggestion to declare Karachi and Bandar Abbas twin cities due to the similarity of situation. This was stated by the Consul General of Iran in Karachi, Masood Muhammad Zamani, when he called on Sindh Education Minister, Pir Mazharul Haq, here on Tuesday. Pir Mazhar said that he would discuss this suggestion with the Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah.
The Consul General also invited Pir Mazhar ul Haq for a visit to Iran.
