The Federal Minister for Zakat and Ushr, Noor -ul-Haq Qadri called on Punjab Chief Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif at Chief Minister Secretariat on Tuesday. Development projects in Punjab were discussed in detail, during the meeting.
The Chief Minister said the provincial government was spending huge resources for the provision of health, education, water supply as well as other basic facilities to the masses and uplifting the standard of living of the common man. He said that endowment fund had been established with Rs two billion, first time in the history of the Province for providing good education. He said austerity was being promoted in the Province.
