Indus River System Authority (Irsa) on Saturday released 36,370 cusecs water from various rim stations. According to Irsa, an overall water inflow from various reservoirs recorded was 59,019 cusecs. Water level at Tarbela Dam was recorded at 1424.78 feet. The present water level at the dam was 55 feet higher than the dead level of 1369 feet.
Water inflow at the dam was recorded at 20,500 cusecs while outflow was 15,000 cusecs. In addition, the water level at Mangla Dam was recorded at 1128.75 feet which, was 88 feet higher than the dead level of 1040 feet. Water inflow at the dam was recorded at 17,149 cusecs. The contribution of Kabul and Chenab was recorded at 13,400 cusecs and 7,970 cusecs, respectively.
