Federal Minister for Science and Technology Muhammad Azam Khan Swati said with the co-operation of the Jamiat Ulama Islam(F), the government could eliminate terrorism from Swat and Federally Administered Tribal Areas(Fata). He was talking to media men during his visit here on Saturday.
He was flanked by Central Secretary General of JUI-F Senator Abdul Ghafoor Haidari, Senator Maulana Rahat Hussain, Provincial Member Assembly Mufti Kifayetullah and Nazim of the area. He said since JUI-F had more representation from these areas, thus they could play an important role to contribute in efforts for eliminating terrorism from these areas. He said that Islam was a religion of peace and brotherhood and did not allow extremism and terrorism.
