Technology Upgra-dation and Skill Development Company (TUSDEC) and the Commission on Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in the South (COMSTAS) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to help enhance the capacity and competitiveness of the industrial sector in Pakistan.
Suhael Ahmed, Chief Executive Officer TUSDEC and Dr Imtinan Elahi Qureshi, Executive Director COMSATS inked the document, stated a press release issued here on Monday. Speaking at the MoU signing ceremony.
TUSDEC chief said that collective efforts would help identify skill and technology gaps in the industrial clusters through joint studies, besides co-ordinating efforts to develop "a pool of local and expatriate experts." Executive Director COMSATS, Dr Imtinan Elahi Qureshi said under the agreement, the organisations would also assist each other in developing industry-academia linkages for sustainable economic growth.
