Director Food Punjab, Sheharyar Sultan has directed all the district food officers to contact their respective district co-ordination officers (DCOs) to ensure earliest payment of flour after verifying the supply of flour to tandoor owners for 'Sasti roti' scheme.
These directives were issued by him while presiding over a meeting about payments being made to tanoor owners under 'tanoor package' here on Tuesday. The meeting was attended by all the concerned officers. Sheharyar Sultan claimed that the department was continuing supply of flour according to the requirement of district administration to make 'sasti roti' scheme of Mian Shehbaz Sharif a success and all the flourmills were co-operating in this regard.
