Three persons including one minor were killed and one injured when the roof of an under-construction town house collapsed in Qayyumabad on Friday afternoon, police and ambulance sources said. They said that Laiba 2, Mehreen 16 and Fateh Khatoon 50, all from the same family were crushed to death when the roof in Defence View -III project near Iqra University fell on the residents.
Area people, ambulance service volunteers and police recovered the bodies and shifted them to Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Centre for autopsy. Edhi Ambulance service rushed one injured Rashid, 35 to JPMC for treatment where his condition is stated to be stable.
