A 50-year-old man has died after his single-seater aircraft crashed beside a runway at Fenland Airfield near Spalding in Lincolnshire, police said on Saturday. Lincolnshire Police said the crash was not believed to be suspicious and no other people or aircraft were involved. The family of the man, from the Spalding area, have been informed of his death.
