The world-wide fund for Nature-Pakistan (WWF-P) is organising its annual 'Wetlands Nature Carnival' here on Sunday (today) at Alt Institute of Education. According to a WWF's spokesman here on Saturday, the basic idea behind the event is to address the environmental issues and aware the general public, particularly children and families, about nature conservation through fun activity.
The carnival would exhibit a puppet show revolving around environmental themes, live musical performance and games, nature exhibition, funfair, lucky draw and other exciting activities. The carnival would also include snack bars and food stalls. It is a means of education through entertainment. A panel of judges would decide, which was the best obsession displayed at the carnival and would present gifts and awards towards the end of the carnival.
