The Karachi Port handled 57,433 tonnes of cargo including 30,914 tonnes of import and 26,519 tonnes of export, 682 loaded and empty containers (TEUs) during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Saturday. The freights comprised of 35,433 tonnes of dry cargo including 7,107 tonnes of general cargo; 1,763 tonnes of wheat, 15,674 tonnes of coal and 22,000 tonnes of oil/liquid cargo.
Seven ships namely Kota Lambang, Kota Harum, Iron Monger 5, Ha Na, Vidden, Pac Antlia and Kee Lung sailed out to sea during the reported period. Four vessels viz Pac Antlia, Rising Pheonix, Al-Manakh and SC Guangzhou are currently at the berths. Three ships namely Zanis Griva, Apl Balboa and Alexi I expected to ail on Saturday while another six vessels viz Flag Investors, Rising Pheonix, FNS Var, SC Guangzhou, Taban-1 and Saigon Express are expected to sail on Sunday.
Three vessels viz Uni Angel, OEL Mumbai and Saigon Express due to arrive on Saturday while five ships namely Ostria, Rising OM, Ginga Cheetah, Al-Manakh and Hansa Liberty Qiang are due to arrive on Sunday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 56,072 tonnes including 29,646 tonnes of import 26,426 tonnes of export cargo and 2,809 containers (TEUs) was handled during last 24 hours on Saturday. The cargoes comprised of 7,200 tonnes of palm oil; 5,117 tonnes of chemicals; 4,622 tonnes of sun flower seeds; 2,618 tonnes of rice; 332 tonnes of project cargo and 36,183 tonnes of containerised cargo.
Two container ships namely Maersk Virginia and Maersk Novazzano sailed out to sea on Saturday morning while chemicals carrier MT Sun Pine is expected to sail on the same day. A total of eleven ships namely Harsanadi, Vidden, Produce, Chembulk Singapore, Safaga, Bolan, Sha belle, Sichem Melbourne, Sigas Maud, Songa Crystal and Nord Winter carrying palm oil, cement, chemicals and containers respectively are currently at the outer anchorage.
Seven vessels viz CV Maersk Virginia, CV Maersk Novazzano, MV Makran, MT Nikos-O, MT Golden Crest, MV Beluga Revolution and MT Sun Pine are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, rice, sun flower seeds, palm oil and project cargo respectively during the report period. Three ships namely CV Nord Winter, CV Al-Manakh and MT Songa Crystel carrying containers and chemicals are expected to take berths at Qasim International Container Terminal and Engro Terminal on Saturday.
Two vessels viz MT Al-Salam-II and MT Gaschem Dollart with diesel oil and LPG are due to arrive on Saturday while another vessel viz MT Eastern Tera is due to arrive on Sunday. Three ships namely Tanzanite, Al-Manakh and Gionnni Della Gatta with cement, containers and sun flower seeds are also due to arrive.
