Two persons were beheaded late Friday over having alleged illegitimate relations in Budhlasunt area located in the outskirts of Multan, police reported. According to sources, the dead were identified as Sumaira, 22, and father of two Muhammad Sajjad, 28.
Sources added that murderer Naeem Arshad accompanied by his friend Allah ditta while beheading have been arrested and a case has been registered against them. CPO Multan Syed Saud Aziz said," It is definitely honour killing because Sajjad had developed sexual ties with Sumaira".
Relatives of deceased Muhammad Sajjad told police the murder took place over land feud instead of cultural dispute. Sajjad's brother Tariq alleged "Sumaira's brother Muhammad Arshad offered Sajjad to go to Lahore with him when he was standing at a bus stand. He took him to his home where he and his friends beheaded him".
