PML-Q Punjab president and former chief minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi on Thursday said the disqualification of both the Sharif brothers was not a welcome mover and it would result in creating a political vacuum. Talking to the journalists here he was "dejected" over the court judgement.
To a query, he said the PML-Q Central Executive Committee (CEC) would take decision regarding entering into an alliance with any political party for the formation of government in Punjab. He rejected media reports in which it has been reported that the government had contacted the party on the issue of formation of the government in Punjab. He said that President had phoned PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain on the demise of his mother. There was not political discussion, he added.
