SINGAPORE: Asia's naphtha crack eased to a two-session low of $63.35 a tonne on Monday, down from a nine-week high on July 21, to reflect muted spot demand following a string of purchases recently from North Asia.
- China's demand for naphtha last month was particularly strong, with imports hitting a 16-month high at nearly 639,000 tonnes, official data showed.
- Chinese gasoline exports also went higher in June, with the data showing that the country had shipped out 766,340 tonnes of petrol last month or the highest monthly volume since April.
- But gasoline exports in June were down from last June's record volume of 1.1 million tonnes.
GASOLINE: Asia's gasoline crack, similar to naphtha, eased to a three-session low of $10.88 a barrel.
