Installation of another state -of-the-art terminal at Karachi Port is a moment of great satisfaction for me. Lucky Cement, the fore - runners of cement exporters of Pakistan deserve to be applauded on this momentous occasion.
The success is definite when two leaders join hands together; this has become true when the premier port, KPT and the leading cement producers the Lucky Cement have added a facility of storage and loading cement in bulk into the vessels at Karachi Port for the first time.
Cement forms the bulk of Pakistan's exports to regional countries. It demands modern tools, efficient handling, keeping in stride with the dictates of modern trends in cargo handling, these silos are latest addition to our port. In this respect this terminal will no doubt go a long way in realising the efficiency and increased throughput. I wish Karachi Port Lucky Cement a productive partnership in this superb effort.
