Indus River System Authority (Irsa) on Monday released 87,259 cusecs water from various rim stations. According to Irsa, an overall water inflow from various reservoirs recorded was 76,779 cusecs. Water level at Tarbela dam recorded was at 1374.47 feet. The present water level at the dam was 5.47 feet higher than the dead level of 1369 feet.
Water inflow at the dam was recorded at 23,400 cusecs while outflow was 40,000 cusecs. The water level at Mangla dam was recorded at 1069 feet which was 29 feet higher than the dead level of 1040 feet. Water inflow at the dam was recorded at 30,120 cusecs. The contribution of Kabul and Chenab was recorded at 13,300 cusecs and 9,959 cusecs, respectively.
