The residents of Bomai Sopore in occupied Kashmir have threatened to enforce a complete shutdown from March 19 against the criminal silence of authorities over the killings of two innocent youth by Indian troops at Bomai on February 21.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Co-ordination Committee (CC) Bomia in a meeting has decided to enforce a complete shutdown against the criminal silence on the killing of innocent civilians and for removing the army camp within 15 days from Bomai Sopore.
CC President Hakeem-ul-Rehman told media men that people had decided to act against the Omar Abdullahs administration, who had failed to punish the killer troopers and remove the army camp from the area.
He said Omar Abdullah was be-fooling the people. "The statements of the puppet Chief Minister and other so-called ministers regarding the punishment to troopers and removal of camps are hoax. Nothing is happening at the ground level," the CC President said.
He said, "Indian Army personnel are most powerful people in the occupied territory. They are more powerful than the Chief Minister. We have no hope of justice now." Reiterating the agitation programme, Hakeem-ul-Rehman said students would start boycotting the schools from March 19 and the mass migration of the villagers would start on March 21.
