Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Mian Shahbaz Sharif has said that matters pertaining to governors rule in Punjab and their "disqualification" would be resolved soon. Talking to reporters at Lahore Airport on his return from Islamabad on Monday Shahbaz said PML-N waged a just struggle for restoration of judiciary as on November 2, 2007.
He said that his leader Nawaz Sharif and he himself desire nothing and want to put the country on the right path. . PML-N Punjab President Sardar Zulifqar Ali Khosa and Secretary General Raja Ashfaque Sarwar were also present on the occasion. Shahbaz said that President Asif Ali Zardari read the writing on the wall. "If a person accepts his mistake he must be spared, he said.
The PML-N President, who looks relaxed and fully confident, told reporters that the lawyers and political activists of the country who took part in the just movement deserve compliments, as "by the grace of Allah Almighty, all the demands of the nation have been fulfilled". He said the decision of President and Prime Minister to restore the deposed judges is a praise worthy act.
This decision will help strengthen institutions in the country, which is a good omen for the country, he added. Shahbaz said that sacrifices of the people have borne fruits with the dawn of an independent judiciary. He also felicitated the whole nation over the reinstatement of deposed judges and said it will lead towards a positive change.
