The Karachi Port handled 61,267 tonnes of cargo including 31,003 tonnes of import and 30,264 tonnes of export, 3,331 loaded and empty containers (TEUs) during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Saturday. The freights comprised of 41,667 tonnes of dry cargo including 30,819 tonnes of general cargo; 10,492 tonnes of cement; 356 tonnes of rice and 19,600 tonnes of oil/liquid cargo.
Eight ships namely Arabian Orchid, Silver Graft, H & H Tide, Rak Afrikana, Blida, Valbella, Mol Affinity and Ts Qingdao sailed out to sea during the reported period. Four vessels viz Oocl Ability, Lucky Arrow, Emek-S and MT Swat are currently at the berths. Three ships namely Oocl Ability, Admire Coral and Emek-S expected to sail on Saturday while another three vessels viz Jakarta Express, Fatima-1 and MT Swat expected to sail on Sunday.
Six vessels viz Chembulk Savannah, Jock Rickmers, Apl Balboa, Uni Angle, Sun Shine and Ocean Project-2 due to arrive on Saturday while nine ships namely W O Barev, Bunga Terasek, Mare Thracium, Apl Dalian, Mol Glory, MSC Rosa-M, Dubai, Maha Avanti and Hyun Jin Ks 3 are due to arrive on Sunday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 70,357 tonnes including 52,432 tonnes of import, 17,925 tonnes of export cargo and 2,962 containers (TEUs) was handled during last 24 hours on Saturday.
The cargoes comprised of 15,699 tonnes of furnace oil; 4,906 tonnes of palm oil; 312 tonnes of project cargo; 3,600 tonnes of chemicals; 4,713 tonnes of cement and 41,127 tonnes of containerised cargo.
Four ships MT Stolt Endurance, MT Sc Dalian, CV CSAV Lauca and MV Beluga Constitution sailed out to sea during last 24 hours while container vessel Maersk Novazzano is expected to sail on Saturday. A total of four ships namely Sea Lion, Chem Rout Brillant, Ansan and Vancoure-II carrying furnace oil, palm oil and cement respectively are currently at the outer anchorage.
Eight vessels viz CV Maersk Novazzano, CV CSAV Lauca, MV Alexi-III, MV Alaska-II, MT Beluga Constitution, MT Sahmo Emerald, MT Genie and MT Indradi are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, project cargo, palm oil, furnace oil and chemicals respectively during the report period.
Three ships namely MV Ansan, CV MSC Liana and CV Eddy Stone scheduled to load/offload cement and containers are expected to take berths at Qasim International Container Terminal and Multi Purpose Terminal respectively on Saturday. MT Hartati carrying palm oil due to arrive on Saturday while another ship namely MT Angelia is due to arrive on Sunday.
