KARACHI: Newly nominated President of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Karachi Division, Senator Syed Faisal Raza Abidi arrived in Karachi on Tuesday.
PPP leaders and workers in large number received Senator Syed Faisal Raza Abidi at the Karachi Airport here.
Senator Syed Faisal Raza Abidi has replaced Syed Najmi Alam, a former president of the PPP Karachi Division.
This is second time, when Faisal Abidi has been nominated for this slot.
Rallies were taken out by different wings of PPP Karachi gathered at Peoples Secretariat and later left for the Airport to receive their leader.
Large number of activists of the party including women were holding party flags and banners inscribed with slogans welcoming Syed Faisal Raza Abidi on his appointment as the President PPP Karachi Division.
