The government has decided to award Presidential medal/civil award to the highest taxpayer and top exporter of Pakistan on the occasion of Independence Day on August 14 2009. In this connection, the Industries and Commerce Department of Sindh has asked the FBR Chairman to submit the name of the top taxpayer of the country.
The Presidential medal/civil award would be given to the highest taxpayer to encourage individuals for voluntarily paying their due taxes in the national exchequer. The Industries and Commerce Department of Sindh would forward the name of the top taxpayer to the relevant authorities for necessary action.
