Gainers outclassed losers on the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) Monday, where bulls commanded the proceedings under the lead of trend-setters amid increase on the index. ISE Index showed an improvement of 54.09 points, as it moved from 1,578.02 to 1,632.11 points.
The trading volume stood at 3,163,409 shares, as compared to previous turnover of 2,727,390. Total 135 companies participated in trading, while majority of them (101) closed in positive territory, whereas two companies remained pegged to their last weeks levels. Trading volume of NIB Bank was 487,030 shares. Bank of Punjab recorded a turnover of 389,000 shares and Maple Leaf Cement experienced a turnover of 372,500 shares.
