The Federal Shariat Court has dismissed the petitions of pesticide retailers, observing that they should be curbed with iron hands, which is not un-Islamic to punish them. Abdul Latif and others have approached the court on the ground that they purchased sealed pesticide from different companies and sold out in the same conditions.
They prayed to the court to declare the action of police as illegal and un-Islamic. The court remarked that the persons, who were possessing these pesticides are liable to punish and it did not matter where from they reached to them.
