Review board on sacked employees/workers on Thursday discussed various aspects of its working methodology and formulated the procedure for speedy disposal of the petitions of the sacked employees. The first meeting of review board on sacked employees/ workers was held here on Thursday with former Justice Mir Hazar Khan Khoso in the chair.
Noting that the cut off date for submission of petitions was April 13, 2009, the board directed for prompt registration of the petitions and its onward transmission to the ministries/divisions concerned for sending their comments/defence well in time ie 15 days of the receipt of notice from the board.
The board decided that upon receipt of requisite comments/ defence/certified data from the ministries/divisions, it will start hearing the petitioners and take final decision within 30 days from the first hearing. The board also directed that the Ordinance of the sacked employees/workers be placed on the website of the Establishment division. The meeting was also attended by Secretary Law and Justice Division and Secretary Establishment Division as well as other officers.-PR
