The Karachi Port handled 130,282 tonnes of cargo including 94,944 tonnes of import and 35,338 tonnes of export, 3,030 loaded and empty containers (TEUs) during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Tuesday. The freights comprised of 75,883 tonnes of dry cargo including 57,711 tonnes of general cargo; 12,481 tonnes of fertiliser; 4,382 tonnes of cement and 54,399 tonnes of oil/liquid cargo.
Six ships namely Iron Monger-3, Global Progress, Mol Ability, Kota Harum, Industrial Dream and Apl Brisbane sailed out to sea during the reported period. Seven vessels Al Mirqab, Northern Harmony, Apl Brisbane, TS Jakarta, Green Arrow, Fu Yuan Shan and Torm Venture are currently at the berths.
Three ships namely Ionian Trader, Nayab 1, and Petrolink 6 are expected to sail on Satuday, while Seven ships namely Fu Yuan Shan, Apl Sharjah, Northern Harmony, Torm Venture, MSC Delta, ST Stephan and Green Arrow are expected to sail on Wednesday.
Four vessels viz Apl Sharjah, LTC Calvin Titus, Al Aqeela II and BBC Switzerland carrying containers, cement and general cargo, due to arrive on Tuesday while eight ships namely Miss Lucy, Apl Atlanta, Hyundai Duke, Kota Handal, Buxlagoon, Ocean Host, Annal and Bulk Arrow carrying mogas, containers, coal and cement, are due to arrive on Wednesday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 49,632 tonnes including 39,960 tonnes of import, 9,672 tonnes of export cargo and 1,927 containers (TEUs) was handled during last 24 hours on Tuesday. The cargoes comprised of 7,047 tonnes of palm oil; 9,336 tonnes of sun flower seeds; 3,462 tonnes of LPG; 2,640 tonnes of cement and 27,147 tonnes of containerised cargo.
Two ships, CV Carla and MT New Setokae sailed out to sea during last 24 hours while two more vessels CV Maersk Missouri and MT Navigator Gemini are expected to sail on Tuesday. Total eight ships namely CV Maersk Missouri, CV Carla, MV Lady Nariman, MV Sea Pride, MT Giovanna Iuliano, MT New Setokaze, MT Samho Heron and MT Navigator Gemini occupied the berth during reported perios.
A total of fifteen ships namely CSAV Pyrenees, Nedlloyed Aisa, Global Triton, Golden Crest, Nogo Gini, Nod Venus, Baltic Sea, Fu Da, Beluga Intonation, Orient-III, Leopard-B, Orbit, Abyot and Khairpur carrying containers, palm oil, diesel oil, furnace oil, canola seeds, project cargo, Cement and rice respectively are currently at the outer anchorage.
Four ships namely CV CSAV Pyrenees, CV Nedlloyed Aisa, MT Baltic Sea and MT Global Triton scheduled to load/offload carrying containers, furnace oil and palm oil expected to take berth at Qasim International Container Terminal, Fotco and MW-1 respectively on Tuesday. While two vessels viz MT Sichem Defender and MT Swat are due to arrive at Port Qasim on Wednesday.
