The President Zari Taraqiati Bank Ltd (ZTBL) Muhammad Zaka Ashraf on the instructions of President Asif Ali Zardari and on the demands of Prime Minister Azad Kashmir has announced a separate Zonal Office of ZTBL for Azad Kashmir. The announcement was made by Zaka Ashraf President ZTBL in a ceremony held at Zonal office Faisalabad.
He said that ZTBL will directly purchase the fertilisers from factories and will provide to the farmers. In first phase this facility will be provided to Rahim Yar Khan and Badin districts through a Pilot project and after that whole Pakistani farmers will be benefited with this facility.
We are working to get Bio Seeds from China, Korea and Australia for the betterment of farmers. We will also get soft term loans from Korea and China other than the grant. Mobile credit officers are being employed for farmers facilitations. Daily saving schemes are being enhanced to daily products and profit is raised from 4 to 9 percent.
$2 million grant will be obtained from Australian aid and Korean government and $250 million will be obtained as soft credit, he maintained. With the collaboration of Chinese government we are working on alternative energy and with the help of Chinese government easy instalment loans will be given to farmers from 5-7 years instalment plan and farmers will be benefited forever from this facility, he added.
Government is establishing a new task force to check per acre yield of its target which will pay foreign visits to whole world for attaining the latest technology. Haj scheme is being introduced for farmers for which they can submit their Haj applications through ZTBL.
President ZTBL officers association Rana Anees and all Pakistan ZTBL peoples workers union have presented their demands before the President of the Bank and President ZTBL listened their problems and promised for approval of necessary demands.
