The University of Sindh (SU) will conduct test of candidates for schoolteachers, beginning from Friday, at all district headquarters of the province. According to a University spokesman, a total of 22 teams, under supervision of team leaders comprising the senior professors, will supervise the test procedure and performance of supporting staff belonging to the invigilation staff nominated by the EDOE of concerned districts.
The test arrangements would also be supervised by the Chief Vigilance Officers comprising SU deans. As per schedule, the test of High School Teachers (HST) will be conducted on Friday while the test for Junior School Teachers (JST) test will be carried out on April 25. Similarly, the test for Primary School Teachers will be held on April 26.
The spokesman said those tests would start at 10:30 am, however, candidate would be required to reach their respective centres at 8:00 am along with admit cards and original National Identity Cards. The SU management has set-up 29 examination centres at 22 districts of the province. Separate arrangements have been made for male and female candidates.
The SU spokesman said that a total of 8,690 candidates, including 262 male and 197 female for HST, 230 male and 206 female for JST and 5,868 male and 1,927 female candidates would appear in the test at Badin district. Only 418 female candidates will appear at Dadu district, while there would be no women candidates for HST and PST there.
In Ghotki, a total of 8,686 candidates including 541 male and 184 male candidates will appear for HST, 565 male and 219 female candidates for JST and 6,019 male and 1,158 female candidates for PST will appear in the test. A total of 1,737 candidates including 384 male and 1,353 male will appear only for JST test at Hyderabad district.
A total of 6,677 candidates including 907 male and 336 female candidates for JST and 4,574 male and 860 female candidates will appear for PST test from Jacobabad district. In Jamshoro district, a total of 4,782 candidates including 175 male and 141 female will appear for HST test, 196 male and 197 female candidates will appear for JST and 2,700 male and 1,373 female candidates will appear for PST test.
A total of 9,982 candidates including 236 female candidates will appear for HST, 1,332 male and 432 female for JST and 5,962 male 2,020 female candidates will appear for PST test from Qambar-Shahdadkot district. A total of 24,489 candidates including 651 male and 3,596 female candidates for HST, 247 male and 2,281 female candidates for JST and 6,034 male and 11,680 female candidates for PST will appear from Karachi.
From Kashmore-Kandhkot district, a total of 8,486 candidates including 480 male and 69 female for HST 951 male and 127 female will appear for JST, while 6,157 male and 702 female candidates will appear for PST. From Khairpur Mirus district, a total of 21,198 candidates will appear for these tests. They will comprise 1,218 male and 665 female for HST, 1,096 male and 746 female for JST and 13,036 male and 4,437 female candidates for PST tests.
