Family, three soldiers killed in Balochistan

Militants Wednesday killed a young family and shot dead three soldiers clearing mines in Dera Bugti area, a military official said. A married couple and their child were killed when militants fired a rocket towards a military checkpost in the Dera Bugti, an official with the Frontier Corps paramilitary said.
The rocket missed the target and slammed into a house, killing the residents. Elsewhere in the province, FC soldiers were sweeping mines in Sibi district, the same official said. "The gunmen opened fire on the unit and fled, leaving three soldiers dead and another three wounded," he said, requesting not to be named.
