A high level meeting of the department of Education and Literacy Government of Sindh and University of Sindh had reviewed the arrangements for conducting test of Primary School Teachers (PST) in 20 districts and HST at Karachi here on Friday.
Sindh Education Minister Pir Mazharul Haq, Sindh University Vice Chancellor Mazharul Haq Siddiqui and other key officials of the Education department and University of Sindh attended the meeting. The meeting reviewed the arrangements of the issuance and distribution of admit cards to PST candidates as well as HST candidates in Karachi.
The meeting also discussed the problems faced by the University officials during HST and PST tests at various examination centres and non-co-operation by management of different districts. The meeting also discussed the problems created by unregistered candidates at various examination centres during HST and PST tests and security measures taken by the Government.
The meeting decided to conduct test of PST at 20 districts of Sindh in two phases on May 19 and 24. The meeting also finalised the arrangements for holding of HST test for the Karachi candidates. The minister on this occasion directed the officials of Education department and EDO Karachi to ensure the distribution of admit cards to HST and PST candidates of Karachi.
