Sindh Home Minister, Dr Zulfikar Ali Mirza, while taking notice of rise in crimes in the city despite ban on pillion riding, has called for a detailed report from CCPO Karachi about crime figures before and after the ban.
He said head-wise details of crimes of dacoities, robberies, snatching of mobile phone, cash, jewellery, motorcycles, cars be sent for his perusal along with the strategy to cope with the situation in future. He directed that the report be prepared on Town and police station level so that the performance of concerned SPs and SHOs in crime control could be judged.
