Three bodies including a body of woman were found from different parts of the metropolis on Tuesday, police and witnesses said. A four-day old body of a young man, Saifullah, 30, was found in a house located at Saeedabad Colony in limits of Saeedabad police station, who was killed by beating brutally.
Later, the body of deceased was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for an autopsy where medico-legal sources said the decease received injury in his head that proved fatal. Talking to Business Recorder, SHO Saeedabad Police Insp. Zahid Soomro said the deceased was living bachelor in a rented house. He said no one from the family of the deceased contacted the police. He said that the police have registered FIR, No 263/09, against unknown culprits.
In another incident, a body of woman was found in a saline nullah near D-7 Bus stop, who was reportedly drowned in the nullah in the limit of Quaidabad police station. Later, the body of deceased was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for a post-mortem.
Sources at Quaidabad police station said that an unknown man called 15 and informed them about the body at around 6:45pm. They said that according to the medico-legal sources the deceased was drowned a week ago. The police is yet to identify the body.
In yet another incident, the body of a drug addict was found near Bin Qasim Chowk, Bin Qasim Town, who was reportedly killed due to taking extra doze. His body was taken to JPMC for medico-legal formalities and later transferred to Edhi Morgue, Sohrab Goth.
