This is with reference to the recent suicide attack in Lahore and threat to other cities of Punjab. I will hold Nawaz Sharif responsible for his wrong policy and the result today is that people of Punjab are still confused about the war on terror.
Nawaz, during the whole Musharraf tenure, opposed the war on terror due to his personal differences, and that's the reason the people of Punjab remain confused about this war despite threats to the integrity of the country. Now just because Nawaz's opposition to this war Musharraf was never able to start a full-fledged war against Taliban as he was never having support from the people on this issue.
He never let the nation focus and take a stand against terrorists. Now after eight years of the war, Nawaz, for the first time, supported the action against these terrorists that has now totally confused his supporters.
The terrorists started threatening Punjab and people have to come out and support the government but this cannot happen until and unless Nawaz take a clear-cut stand on war on terror and admits that he was wrong in his previous policy or admit honestly that he opposed it because of Musharraf.
